STARRY SKY NURSERY INSPIRATION

April 17, 2018

I had so much fun creating Oliver’s nursery, I knew I wanted to make something special for Baby Boy #2 as well. It took me a long time to find inspiration, with the always revolving decor ideas, and I think I’ve finally narrowed it down. I’m showing you my Starry Sky Nursery Inspiration for Baby Boy.

A few weeks ago I created The Ultimate Nursery Checklist that will be sure to guide you in decorating and furnishing a nursery. As I gathered ideas for the free printable, I started looking for products that gave me inspiration for Baby Boy #2. I made my decision thanks to these adorable sheets at Target!

I love the idea of finding swaddles or crib sheets to pull colors and inspiration. For Oliver’s nursery, I purchased polar bear and penguin watercolors from Etsy. That led to finding the perfect Pottery Barn bedding to follow a “North Pole” theme. For the second time around, I found the Cloud Island Constellation crib sheets and I fell in love! I’ve been gathering items here and there, and I even managed to DIY artwork. It is the perfect Mama’s touch for Baby Boy #2.

We will be passing down Oliver’s white furniture from IKEA now that he has transitioned into his toddler bed. The Hemnes Dresser and Sundvik crib were perfect and I love the simplicity.

Are you planning another nursery? Where do you find your inspiration?

You could even include a star map from the night the child was born!

I like the idea of a vision board. I’m struggling with her nursery currently, so I’m going to do this in hopes of finding some inspiration. Thank you!!
