It seems like every year we are breaking the bank with kids toys for everyone in our family. This year, it is my mission to stick to our budget and shop for kids gifts on Amazon for under $100.
We have a large family, so it seems to never fail that our boys are completely spoiled when it comes to Christmas gifts. I try to encourage extended family that we would like to stick to non-toy gifts (post about that coming later!) but now I think it’s best to let family know that they don’t need to break their budget for kids gifts.
What are cheap kids gift ideas? I try my best to find a good sale on kids toys, but that’s when Amazon comes in handy! Not only am I shopping from my couch, but I get the best prices and I can search for great gifts in my price point.
Best Toys Under $100
$100 seems to be the average budget for shopping for your own children. Check out these toys in the under $100 price point.
Amazon Fire 7 – Kids Edition
A fan favorite in our house. The Amazon Fire Tablet is our go-to for traveling. They have since upgraded to the Amazon Fire 10 which is a little higher in price. There is also now a trade in offer if you currently have a Fire tablet, something to look in to!
Balance Bike for Kids
Oliver received this as a gift almost two years ago and I wasn’t quite sure what it was at first! A bike with no pedals?! But it’s turned out to be one of Oliver’s favorites to play with outside. The balance bike enhances their ability to balance and build confidence before they start with a bigger bike.
Tabletop Air Hockey Table
I would say this goes under Cool Toys for Under $100! And I may or may not be trying to win the Coolest Mom Award. My boys would LOVE this TableTop Air Hockey and I think this is absolutely going under their Christmas Tree. 😉
Mini Trampoline
Another kid favorite in our house. This Mini Trampoline is perfect for summer evenings outside, or set it up in your basement during the winter. The net is a great asset to keep things safe for little ones. You would for sure be the coolest house on the block!
Harry Potter: The Illustrated Collection
We bought this early and I am SO excited to start reading this with Oliver. My husband and I were big Harry Potter fans when we were growing up and I would say this Illustrated Collection Box Set is the Ultimate Gift for Under $100!
Best Toys Under $50
This budget is a little easier on the wallet and you can find some amazing kids gifts for under $50!
3D Magnetic Blocks
I think this will also be a Must-Have toy for the boys this year. I’ve been holding off on buying these 3D Magnetic Blocks and I might just have to pull the plug. They will love it and hopefully keep them entertained, atlas for 5 minutes! 😛
Teepee Tent for Kids
If you follow me over on Instagram, then you’ve probably seen this Teepee Tent in Oliver’s bedroom. The boys have so much fun playing in this tent together and I think it’s the cutest gift for under $50!
VTech Smart Shots Sports Center
This is adorable for toddlers between 1 and 3. VTech Smart Shots Sports Center is like a 3-in-1 that will keep your toddler scoring goals and shooting hoops for hours!
Best Toys Under $25
If you’re looking for quantity over quality, you could buy a few smaller items like these below. They’re typically a hit and you get the biggest bang for your buck!
LEGO DUPLO Set
I’ve discovered lately that Elliott is a big fan of LEGO’s! It amazes me what those little minds and fingers can do and this LEGO DUPLO is the perfect set for toddlers.
Activity Cube
What’s better than having 20 toys in one?! This Top Bright Activity Cube is perfect for little hands and it is sure to keep toddlers busy. Perfect, parent-approved and meets all the developmental needs for baby!
Baby Shark Sound Book
Don’t totally hate me for suggesting this but it is too cute! Any toddler would LOVE this Baby Shark Sound Book and you’ll get a guarantee smile when they open this gift!
Best Toys Under $10
I would consider these easy stocking stuffers and perfect for toddlers or babies.
Play-Doh
Not something I typically like to keep in my house, I know, I’m the worst mom ever. BUT these are great stocking stuffers for kids! This Sparkle Play-Doh will let their imaginations run wild!
Connect Four
I LOVED this game when I was younger. We don’t have this at home, but my grandma keeps an older version of Connect Four at her house and the boys love it! Jenga is also a fun family game for under $10!
These are all great ides to fit in any Christmas budget whether it’s $100, $50 or $25. A few personal favorites that I’m hoping to get for the boys is the Mini Trampoline and the 3D Magnatiles. Tell me who your shopping for and what awesome Christmas toys you’re looking for!
